Mr. Eric Stier has been a Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of GenMark Diagnostics, Inc. since May 2013. Mr. Stier served as GenMark's Vice President, Legal Affairs from November 2012 to May 2013. Prior to joining GenMark, Mr. Stier served as Assistant General Counsel of Gen-Probe Incorporated, a publicly traded molecular diagnostics company, from August 2007 through its acquisition by Hologic, Inc. in August 2012. Prior to joining Gen-Probe, Mr. Stier served as a Corporate Associate with the law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP, from September 2002 to August 2007, in the firm's Los Angeles and San Diego offices. Mr. Stier received a B.A. in Behavioral Science and Law from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a J.D. with honors from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
