This is not a company where I would want to grow my career. The working environment is unstable. I cannot create value in an unstable foundation. I cannot sustain enthusiasm to grow my career in a company that only values working over rather that valuing the creation of value. The benefits are bad.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Experienced in their area. Good performers.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Great manager. Should've been promoted long ago.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The team I am on. The company has too many dysfunctional departments. Network, database, vendor, administrative systems are all unstable.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Thought it was good at first. However, they added one additional interview that I thought should have been conducted in my second interview. Had to take additional time off for a third interview that should have been done in the second one.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Pay. That is it. Benefits are lousy. Paid vacation policy only benefits long tenure employees. New employees get 5 days. 150 dollar penalty a month additional cost if spouse has health insurance. Not vested at all until 2 years of service. Poor holiday pay. Career growth is very slow for most.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Company has frozen their budget. No growth potential unless you are of a certain type of person. No desire to grow because it means you will have to work during vacations, holidays and after hours. 24-7 on call. Work life balance is non-existent for management. Poor decision making and planning
