Max Friedman is the CEO and Co-Founder of Givebutter, a modern fundraising platform powering online donations, campaigns, and events for more than 10,000 good causes. Originally from New Hampshire and now based in Washington DC, Max taught himself how to code his freshman year of college and built several apps and websites featured in The Washington Post, Fast Company, Inc. Magazine, Wall Street Journal, and more. In addition to Givebutter, Max sits on the board of Humans for Education, a nonprofit helping schools worldwide become financially independent and is a contributor at Fast Company, where he enjoys writing about his two biggest passions: entrepreneurship and the intersection of technology with philanthropy.
