Mr. John J. Wasz has been the Chief Executive Officer of Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc. since March 17, 2014. Mr. Wasz has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc. since September 6, 2013 and January 9, 2012 respectively. Mr. Wasz served as the President of GBC Metals, LLC (d\b\a Olin Brass) from 2010 to December 19, 2014. Mr. Wasz served as the President of GBC Metals LLC at Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc. since 2010. Mr. Wasz served as the President of Alflex Corp., a former subsidiary of Commonwealth Industries, Inc. since February 2002. He was a Special Advisor for Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Aleris Corporation since June 1, 2008. Mr. Wasz served as an Executive Vice President and President at Aleris Rolled Products at Aleris International, Inc. from December 2004 to June 1, 2008 and served as the President of its Aleris Rolled Products - North America. He served as President of Aluminum Fabricating Division at Commonwealth Industries Inc., and served as an Executive Vice President since February 2002. Mr. Wasz joined Commonwealth Industries Inc. in 1985. From 1988 to 1991, he was Regional Manager and from 1991 to 1993 he served as Distribution Marketing Manager. He served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Commonwealth Industries, Inc. since December 1993. He served as Vice President of Materials at Alflex Corp. He served as Executive Vice President and President of Aflex from 1999 to 2001, Vice President, Materials since March 1997, Vice President of Operations since November 1999 and Chief Operating Officer since June 2000. He has been a Director of Global Brass and Copper Holdings, Inc. since March 17, 2014. Mr. Wasz holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Depauw University and he attended the advanced management program at the Harvard Business School.
