The willingness to work together for the leadership that was willing that didn't have personal relationship with others
My manager is very knowledgeable and professional, and they work to insulate their employees from the tempers and blame-game played by the Jr. and Sr. VPs in the division. The Sr. VP is purely profit-driven and prefers a competitive corporate environment to a collaborative one.
The manager of the store is a good guy except for playing favorites with a family member/employee. The TM as put here is pathetic and anyone above them. The VP ignores your complaints made directly and delegates the task to other mgt. Thus creating a never ending loop pf not getting fixed or better!
The transparency and openness they provide
Prompt on issues solves problems right away
retirement match if I remember it was 6% match
The yearly bonuses are super helpful
401k time off when needed
Overtime pto 401 k accessibility
Ability to work together a short notice
Like every team there's good and bad but for the good the willingness to help on a moment's notice the cons supposed to be eligible for rehire I applied two or three weeks so was a manager and haven't even gotten a call back for a cashier
Most people need to work, and this company offers employment. That's about it.
We have each others back. We all have bad days and the rest of us pick up the slack on any given day.
My team is composed of Gen X and Millennial individuals who work together well despite different backgrounds and opinions. My co-workers like working together and learning from each other's differences. I feel my team is unique in this willingness to embrace others.
The diversity of different ways to help minimize the impact on the environment
Our ability to get things done.
The welcoming nature of my team from the first day I started.
The culture is generally positive, but often one of work, work, work, and never a thank you, when you work on a weekend, your vacation or late at night it is just expected.
I met with upper management.
The appreciation of my experience and knowledge.
I got to meet and be interviewed by all my coworkers. I appreciated having an opportunity to meet them and evaluate them. This gave me an opportunity to consider whether or not I wanted to accept a job offer, knowing the people I would be working with.
The original manager I interviewed with no longer works for the company due to health issues... Not like exposure to benzene(in gasoline) and diabetes has a public connection, unless you Google it! Other than that, it was simple because of her.
I had my first Zoom interview and it was also my first panel interview.
One appreciation would showed even when I would come and work on my days off to improve the store one of the reasons I initially left is would volunteer to constantly take on extra labor but was not recognized for it
That I'm doing my personal best.
I enjoy my work and I like my coworkers. I don't like my divisional leadership's constant need to blame someone for every bad decision; sometimes the landscape shifts under our feet without warning and what was a great idea 5 minutes ago is now an expensive blunder.
My co-workers in my area.
I enjoy the collaboration with my team and working on new projects. I just don't appreciate the lack of Recognition
