Out of 15 GMMB employee reviews, 64% were positive. The remaining 36% were constructive reviews with the goal of helping GMMB improve their work culture.
The past 1.5 years have been tough on all organizations and GMMB is no different. There have been staffing challenges, which have been hard on us as staff. But the agency's leaders are actively addressing this. Again, this is not unlike many agencies in our space.
Being transparent, accountable, and training people to be managers. Instead of overworking, underpaying staff who also get blamed for the failure of poor management, they can pay their staff, remove partners that are chaos muppets and lead to poor management and morale.

Health care and mental health coverage. While we are part of a larger organization, there are plans that work for any budget.
The company pushes staff to use their partners health insurance because it's cheaper for the company; which leaves terrible plans for people. Also, being undertrained and taking on projects I'm not prepared for in which the process is unclear, poor directions, and all the blame.
Everyone is dedicated and works hard. They are kind and well meaning. No one climbs over anyone else to get ahead.

Friendly. Collegial. The firm has also taken diversity, equity and inclusion seriously and hired a great DEI officer. Also, it seems, our new hires are even more diverse than they were in the past.

The people. They are incredibly talented and smart and really passionate about the work
The work and the people.
Several high maintenance projects to manage all at once along with taking on other people's work who have left. Treat people with respect and a manageable workload so they don't leave.

Training for managers, keep bad managers accountable, get rid of bad managers, increase pay, create better work life balance, create career paths and real training to retain staff long term.
