Excellent mission. Really smart and kind employees. Leadership doesn't effectively prioritize and politics are becoming a large problem. Booking lots of time on leadership's calendars seems to be the major factor for promotions.

What are some of the best things about your team?
The team is full of really smart people who are really good at their jobs.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
There are some real technical chops in several leadership team members. They continue to assess employee satisfaction. They don't lead through fear and they understand the need for work/life balance.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The mission makes up for some pay challenges. The equity is not cheap to buy into and the 401K matching is there but a bit paltry. I've done enough interviews to know I could get more elsewhere but I'd have to give up on working somewhere that has a positive missions.
