Boundless optimism, regardless of reality. SoCal surfer bro, but basically nice to the nerds. Sunny dispositions only.
The leadership team needs to be replaced with leaders who understand how to run a successful business. All the good people have left and anyone still there is actively looking to leave. Company culture is poor and needs significant improvement

While we're a pretty casual bunch, I would suggest choosing an outfit that is at least business casual. Showing up in shorts or a t-shirt seems more like you're trying to say "I don't really care" instead of "I fit right in."

I believe management intentionally underpays by recruiting good-will people who want to have a positive impact on the education industry

Almost everything: but first step is trusting others. CEO needs to realize he isn't the company and the company isn't him
