Yes! If your pet has been prescribed a human medication like Latanoprost, most GoodRx coupons will work for your pet's prescription at local retail pharmacies. To find prices and coupons for your pet, go to our homepage and search for the name of your pet's prescription like you would for any other medication. You can use the regular coupons we have listed on our site.
There are a few exceptions to keep in mind:
1. Discounts with RxPCN: 7283 cannot be used for pets.These coupons will list a notice stating they can't be used for pets.
2.Discounts cannot be used on compounded or pet-only medications, like flea and tick treatments.
3. Goodrx does not offer discounts for pet specific medications like heart-worm drugs.
When using a coupon for a pet, the pharmacist will need a DEA number from your vet to process the coupon and prescription. (Human prescriptions require an NPI number, whereas pet prescriptions require the prescriber's DEA number.) Once the pharmacist has your prescriber's DEA number, they should be able to process the coupon and the prescription information in their system without any problems.
What if the coupon says itcan'tbe used for a pet. Can you help me find a pet coupon?

No, you are not eligible to use the Inside Rx brand discounts if you are eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE or other government-sponsored insurance plans.
Can I use an Inside Rx discount if I have commercial insurance?
Yes! You can use Inside Rx discounts instead of your prescription insurance. This includes employer-sponsored health insurance and plans purchased from a health care exchange. However, the discounts cannot be used with your insurance or to lower your co-pay.
Plan Deductible: If you choose to use the Inside Rx discount instead of your insurance, the amount you pay will not be automatically applied toward your deductible. You may want to contact your insurance company to find out if you can submit receipts for prescriptions purchased using Inside Rx. Many insurance plans will allow you to submit receipts for potential reimbursement and/or credit towards your deductible and other policy limits.
Flexible Savings Account (FSA) or Health Savings Account (HSA):Depending on the terms of your FSA or HSA plan, they may be used to pay for your prescription when using your Inside Rx discount. 1. Text or email a coupon to yourself
After searching for your prescription on the GoodRx website, click on the green Get Free Coupon or Get Free Discount button to the right of your pharmacy.

This will open your coupon in a new window. You'll see three buttons in the top left corner of the Coupon page that say:Print, Text and Email.
To Text the Coupon
Click the blueText button in the top left-hand corner of the coupon page.
A box will appear at the top of the coupon print page where you can enter your cell phone number to have the coupon sent directly to your phone. Enter your cell phone number into the box, and click the blue SEND button.
This will send a text with a link to a mobile webpage containing the coupon (show this page to your pharmacist to receive the discount).
To Email the Coupon
Click the blueEmail button in the top left-hand corner of the coupon print page.
A box will appear at the top of the coupon print page where you can enter an email address to have the coupon sent directly to your email. Enter an email address into the box and click the blue SEND button.
If you would like to receive promotional emails from GoodRx, check the box that says Send me savings offers and prescription alerts. If you do not wish to receive any additional emails from GoodRx, uncheck this box before clicking the blue SENDbutton.
2. Use Text GoodRx
You can have coupons sent directly to your phone using Text GoodRx. Its a fast and easy way to quickly access prices and discounts without downloading an app or visiting a website.
To get started, text the word SAVE to 466379 (GOODRX) on your cell phone.
Follow the prompts in each message to find prices and coupons near you. We'll suggest the most common dosage and quantity for your prescription, but you can make changes before viewing prices.
Once you confirm your prescription, you'll get a text with the four lowest prices available.

3. You can use our mobile app
Download the GoodRx mobile app to any iPhone, iPad or Android phone, open the coupons in the app, and show them to your pharmacist from your phone.

4. You can request a discount card in the mail
We actually recommend using the coupons for greater savings. If you're not able to use the coupons from any of the options listed above, you can submit a request for a free GoodRx Pharmacy Discount Card. Once requested, we'll mail you a card and it should arrive within 23 weeks.

Generic vs. BrandBrand-name drugs are expensive. Generics are generally much cheaper. If you have been prescribed a brand-name drug, ask your doctor if there is a generic available. Generics approved by the FDA have the same dosage, safety, strength, method of use, quality, performance and intended use as the brand-name drug. On GoodRx, we'll show you if there is a generic equivalent for any brand-name drug you look up.
Pill SplittingFor many drugs, an increase in dosage does not mean a corresponding increase in price. Many Americans ask their doctors for a higher dosage and then simply split their pills in half. For example, if you're supposed to take a 20mg tablet, have your doctor prescribe a 40mg tablet.
Always check with your doctor and pharmacist before splitting your pills though; it's only safe with certain types of tablets.
Mail Order vs. RetailMail-order pharmacies are often cheaper than retail pharmacies. This is particularly true if you have insurance your co-pays may be lower if you order a 90-day supply through your insurance company.

If you're interested in using a GoodRx discount, and you fill your medication at Sam's Club, you will need to transfer your prescription to a participating pharmacy.
Opioid prescriptions cannot be transferred and may require your Doctor to write or call in a newprescription. Before attempting to fill aprescription for a controlled substance at a new pharmacy, please be aware that discounts for controlled substances are honored at the discretion of the individual pharmacy or pharmacist.

Information Collected by GoodRx (and How We Use It)

There are a few circumstances where we collect medical data from you that links to your name or contact information. These include:
If you tell us which Medicare plan you are on, that information can be linked to you so that you do not have to re-enter your Medicare plan information every time you do a price search.
Information You Provide To Us On The Site.
Generally, GoodRx does not collect the name and contact information of visitors to the Site. However, if you register to receive certain services, you will need to provide us with some personal information so that we can provide these services. By providing your personal information, you agree to let us use such personal information in order to fulfill your requested service and to reach out to you about prescription savings opportunities. In order to receive price alerts on a set of prescription drugs, sign up to receive a coupon, and/or e-mail or text a coupon to yourself, you will need to provide us your email address or phone number where we can text you. We will use the provided information to reach out to you about prescription savings opportunities.
When you participate in GoodRx's Instant Savings program, we collect your personal and prescription information and use it in order to complete the requested transfer and/or application of the GoodRx coupon and to solicit your feedback on the program.
If you request a discount card, you must give us your name and mailing address. We will use your provided information to send a discount card and reach out to you about prescription savings opportunities.
Information You Provide to Marketing Partners
Sometimes, GoodRx works with third parties that conduct marketing campaigns where you can opt into receiving materials and where you agree to provide us with your name, contact information and, in cases where you choose to provide it, your medical information. We use this information to fulfill your request for GoodRx materials and as specified by these marketing campaigns. Information You Provide to Your Health Care Professionals
Some health care professionals who use GoodRx may text or email you a coupon with your permission. In order to receive the coupon from your health care professional, you must provide your phone number or email address. By providing yourhealth care professional with your phone number or email address, you are requesting to becontacted with prescription-related information, and you acknowledge that there may be somerisk that the message could be read by a third party. We use this information to assist in sending you the coupon and to provide you with prescription savings opportunities.
Information You Provide in Communications With Us
When you contact us by email or other communications, you may provide us with your name, contact information and, if you choose to provide it, your medical information. We use this information to respond to your communications and to try and fulfill any customer service requests.

If you sign up for a GoodRx account, information collected by cookies can be associated with your GoodRx account information. Read more about what information is collected by cookies below. We use this information to provide you with better, faster service, particularly for recurring visits.

Demographics and Interest Information
The GoodRx website has implemented Google Analytics Demographics and Interest reporting. This tool enables us to view demographic and other information aggregated from the overall population of the visitors to our site.
Information Received From Pharmacy Benefit Managers
Most prescriptions purchased in the United States, including prescriptions filled through the use of discount coupons, loyalty cards or insurance co-pays, result in the pharmacy reporting patient data back to the company that provides the benefit. When you use a coupon provided by GoodRx, we receive information about the transaction from the corresponding Pharmacy Benefit Manager.
The data GoodRx uses for our ordinary business operations is de-identified. In other words, information such as your name, address, and date of birth are not viewable in these files. GoodRx may use data received from Pharmacy Benefit Managers to improve services and business operations, including for analysis (for instance, to make sure the pricing displayed on the Site matches the price users get at the pharmacy). GoodRx may share (but not sell) such aggregated, de-identified data with partners in a variety of ways, for instance by providing reports breaking down usage by geography. When we provide this information, we take legal and technical measures to ensure that the data does not identify you and cannot be associated back to you.
When do we share information from a third party that can identify you?
GoodRx may in some instances share information with a third party vendors, service providers and partners that identifies you. What about kids personally identifiable information?
Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13. We assume our website is used by adults or minors supervised by a parent or guardian. We respect the privacy of parents and children and are committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"). On those areas of our Site that ask for age, we do not collect personal information from individuals who identify themselves as under the age of 13 except in those limited circumstances where we believe that such collection is permitted under COPPA.

Pausing your account allows you to temporarily suspend your GoodRx Gold membership. Turn it on when you need it and turn it off when you don't! You will not be charged a monthly membership fee while your account remains paused,and you can still log in and view your account.
This feature is ideal for the member who may not need to use their GoodRx Gold card now, but can benefit from the savings later. Once paused, your account will remain inactive until you need it.
If you choose to pause your account, you will continue to receive the GoodRx Gold prices until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, you can still use your Gold card at the pharmacy to receive a discount, but you won't be able to receive the Gold member prices.
You can reactivate your membership at any time.
If you would like to permanently delete your GoodRx Gold account and all associated information, you can cancel your account.
Once your account has been canceled, you will continue to receive the GoodRx Gold prices until the end of your current billing cycle. However, your account will be deleted, and you will not be able to log in. If you would like to reactivate your Gold membership in the future, you will need to create a new account.
Keep in mind that even after your account has been canceled, you can still use your Gold card at the pharmacy to receivea discount, but you won't be able to receive the Gold member prices.

Step 1 Log in and go to your Account Settings page
Once you are logged in, click on the 'head and shoulders' Account icon in the top right-hand corner of any page. This will take you to your Account Settings page. return to an Individual Plan
Step 2Select "Upgrade to Family Plan" under the Account section
Step 3Choose your plan
On the next page, you will choose whether to upgrade your plan or stay with your current plan. If you do not wish to continue, you can click on 'Cancel Upgrade' located underneath the gold button. You will remain on the Individual Plan.
If you would like to upgrade to the Family Plan, click on the gold button that says "Yes, upgrade now."
You're all set!
After selecting "Yes, upgrade now," your account should be successfully upgraded. You will be redirected back to your 'Account Settings' page where you will be able to view your updated plan informationand begin adding new members. When your next billing date arrives, your new monthly membership fee will be $9.99.
You can at any time if you decide you no longer want additional members on your account.

To locate your temporary card, follow the steps below:
Step 1
Log In and go to "Your Card"
Log in from your cell phone or computer and locate the "Your card" icon in the upper right-hand corner of any page. Click on the card icon and you will be redirected to your GoodRx Gold card page.
Step 2
Print, text or email the card
From the GoodRx Gold card page, you can print, text or email the card to yourself. If you are using your cell phone or the mobile app, bring up the card on your screen and show it to your pharmacist.To PrintClick the gold Print Card button to print a temporary card to use while you wait for the physical card to come in the mail.
To TextClick the button that says Text My Card Info to have the coupon sent directly to your cell phone in a text message. A window will appear that will prompt you to enter your cell phone number and click the Send Text button.
Once you receive the text message, use your phone to show your GoodRx Gold card to your pharmacist.By texting GoodRx, youre giving us permission to text you with prescription-related information. You acknowledge that there may be some risk that the information in the communication(s) could be read by a third party. Standard messaging rates apply.
To Email Click the button that says Email My Card Info. A window will appear prompting you to enter your email address and click the Send Email Button.
Look for the email in your inbox, open it and show the attached temporary GoodRx Gold card to your pharmacist.
View ArticleThe person code is used to individually identify each member on a GoodRx Gold account. All members, regardless of whether you have an Individual Plan or a Family Plan, will have a person code assigned to them.
Why is the person code important?
The pharmacist must enter the GoodRx Gold card information along with the correct person code for each member in order for the card to work correctly.
All members of a Family Plan will use the same card with identical Member ID, Bin, Group and PCN numbers, but the person codes will be unique to each member on a specific account.
How do I find a member's person code?
You can find your person code in two places:
On the back of your physical card
In your online account
Physical Card
The person code for each member is typically listed on the back of the card next to the member's name. The person codes will be numbered from "01" to "06" depending on how many members you have on your plan.If you have an Individual Plan or if you are the Primary member of a Family Plan, your person code will typically be "01."
"Your GoodRx Gold Card" page
Online Account
If you haven't received your card yet, or if you recently added a new member to your Family Plan, you can also view the person codes for each member on the in your account.
On the YourGoodRx Gold Card page, you will see a digital copy of your card. Underneath the card, you will see the person code for each member listed next to their name.
In the image above, Jane Smith is listed as person code "04" on the account. If Jane Smith fills a prescription with GoodRx Gold, she would present the card to the pharmacist and ask them to process the card information (Bin, Pcn, Group, & Member ID) with person code "04".

Know the price of a drug before you go to the pharmacy
The cost of your prescriptions can change very frequently. Drug prices change, formularies change, co-pays change, and prices may vary by pharmacy depending on the type of coverage you have. It is best to know before you go so that you can better understand your healthcare costs.
Learn about cost-saving alternatives
Once you can easily access prices, there are many ways you can save money on your prescriptions. Is your drug on formulary? Have you priced generic alternatives? Have you looked up the prices of alternative drugs which treat the same condition but cost less? Have you looked at purchasing a higher dosage pill or a greater quantity, which may cost less on a per-dose basis? Have you looked at mail order pharmacy options? All of these options can be easily compared by simply looking up a drug on GoodRx, and they can generate real savings.
Can you beat your Medicare drug insurance co-pay?
Medicare's Part D and Advantage programs will bring down your drug costs, but they do not always offer the lowest prices. Many chain pharmacies offer membership clubs with low-cost generics. There are a variety of coupons and discounts available on GoodRx (for free) which can provide lower prices than your co-pay. If your drug is not on your formulary, Medicare will provide limited coverage and you may want to explore the other options provided on GoodRx to bring down the cost of these drugs.
Avoid falling into the Medicare donut hole too soon
GoodRx and GoodRx Gold can be especially helpful if you have concerns about going into the donut hole too soon. You can use your Medicare plan for your more expensive brand drugs, and use GoodRx to purchase your less expensive generic medications. The cost of drugs purchased under GoodRx will not count against your coverage limit - thus keeping you out of the donut hole longer.
It's important to note that the amount you pay when using GoodRx does not automatically count towards your deductible or getting you out of the donut hole either. If you are in the donut hole, and would like to use GoodRx, you may want to contact your insurance company to find out if you can submit receipts for prescriptions purchased using GoodRx. Many plans will allow you to submit receipts for potential reimbursement and/or credit towards your deductible and other policy limits.

Step 4Select your pharmacy

Step 1 Log in and go to your Account Settings page

Step 2Locate the 'Account Options' section

Step 3Select the Pause Account or Cancel Account button.
If you would like to permanently delete your account and all associated information, click on the red Cancel Account button. If youchoose this option,you will nolonger be able to log in or access your account information.
If you would like to temporarily suspend your account, select thePauseAccount button instead. You will still be able to access your account and reactivate your subscription at any time.
Step 4Confirm Cancellation or Account Pause

It's important to note that you will generally save more when you use the current coupons listed on the GoodRx website and mobile app. We offer cards for those who do not have access to the coupons or for those who prefer to carry a card with them. View ArticleThe prices listed on GoodRx are updated constantly and are generally very accurate, but if you believe you were charged the wrong price at the pharmacy when using a GoodRx coupon, there are a few things you will want to check.
First, does the coupon you used match the information on your pharmacy receipt?
Does the name of the medication on your receipt match the coupon? (i.e. metoprolol vs. metoprolol ER extended release)
Does the form (i.e. tablet, capsule or cream) and strength (i.e. 20mg or 1%) listed on your coupon match the form and strength on your receipt?
Does the quantity that was filled match the quantity on your coupon?
If your coupon does not match the prescription that was filled for you, return to goodrx.com or the mobile app and use the menu to select the right options for your prescription. You can return to the pharmacy and request they reprocess the coupon. If you have already purchased the medication, reimbursement will be at the discretion of the pharmacy.
Second, did you use the most current coupon from the website or mobile app?
GoodRx includes discounts from multiple sources to help make sure you always receive the lowest possible price. If you're asked to pay a higher price than expected, it may be because the coupon your pharmacy has on file for you is out of date or you're using an older discount card instead of the most current coupon.
To make sure you still get the lowest price available, check prices on goodrx.com and print out a new coupon the next time you refill. If you have our mobile app, just ask your pharmacist to enter the new coupon information you find on the app.
Pharmacies are contractually obligated to accept GoodRx discounts under most circumstances, and issues are rare.

Step 1
Search for your medication on GoodRx
To transfer your prescription, the first thing you need to do is search for your prescription on GoodRx. On the results page, you'll see a blue "eCoupon" icon to the right of the pharmacy name for CVS Pharmacy and Target (CVS). Be sure to adjust the form, dosage and quantity in the menu at the top of the page so your prescription exactly matches what is on file for you at the pharmacy.
You must enter a locationbefore selecting the green "GET FREE COUPON" button. Learn how to add a location to your search here.
Then, click on the green GET FREE COUPON button next to the CVS Pharmacy or Target (CVS) listing and price. This will take you to the coupon print page where you will see an option to get started.
Step 2
Get Started
Once you have clicked on the green GET FREE COUPON"button, you will be taken to the coupon print page. Click on the blue eCoupon button at the top to get started.
Step 3
Select the status of your prescription
You will next be asked to select one of three options that best describes the status of your current prescription.
If you are transferring the prescription from a different store, select the button that says At Another Pharmacy."
If you have a new prescription and it is not on file at any pharmacy, you will need to select This is a New Prescription. Then, print the coupon and bring it to the pharmacy with your prescription. Once you have it on file, you can use the transfer or eCoupon feature for your next refill.
Step 4
Fill out the patient and contact information form
Fill out the form on the next page with your patient and contact information. Be sure to enter your cell phone number in the contact info section so that CVS can text you when your prescription is ready. Once you have filled out the form, click on the blue Next step button.
Step 5
Select your current pharmacy
On this page, locate the pharmacy that currently has your prescription on file and click on it. Be sure to check the address below the pharmacy name before you make your selection to ensure you are selecting the correct pharmacy.
Step 6
Select the CVS pharmacy you would like to transfer to
On this page, click on the CVS Pharmacy or Target (CVS) you would like your prescription to be sent to. Be sure to pay close attention to the address listed under each CVS or Target (CVS) pharmacy to ensure that your prescription is sent to the correct location.
Step 7
Review and Submit
On this page, review all of the informationyou'veentered for your current pharmacy, the new CVS Pharmacy or Target (CVS) location, and your patient information. If you need to edit any of the pharmacy or patient information, click the grey EDIT button in the specific section you need to edit. If everything looks correct, click the blue SEND TO CVS button at the bottom of the page. You're all set!
A copy of the eCoupon will also be sent to your CVS Pharmacy or Target (CVS), and they will add it to your profile. You'll receive a text message from GoodRx to let you know that your transfer request went through.
When your prescription is ready for pick up, CVS pharmacy will send you a text message.
We recommend calling your new pharmacy in a few hours to verify that your transfer went through with no issues.

Can I use the same coupon at multiple pharmacies?
You can use the coupons at any pharmacy, but you may receive a higher price if the coupon is not used at the designated pharmacy.
GoodRx has several partners that work with pharmacies to negotiate lower drug prices. Each of these negotiated discount prices is specific to the prescription and pharmacy.
For example, in the image below you will see three prices for the same prescription at three different pharmacies.
The price of $83.34 is only available at Walgreens when you use the designated Walgreens coupon. You would not be able to receive the price of $83.34 if you used the Walgreens coupon at another pharmacy like Rite-Aid or CVS. Using the Walgreens coupon at CVS may pull up an even higher price in this pharmacys system, preventing you from receiving either listed price.
To avoid any issues at the pharmacy, we recommend using the designated coupon currently listed for your pharmacy. If you are filling your prescription at Walgreens, use only the current Walgreens coupon, etc.
