The team really wanted to make sure I was a good fit and asked to see some of my substantive work product. They knew they could count on me coming in. Also, they let me talk a lot about my own skillset and realized I could do a lot more than just what the position entailed.
No "test projects" neccessary. They made clear at the very befinjing exactly what the process would be.
