Steve McClellan is President of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company’s Americas region where he leads the company’s largest business spanning across North America and Latin America and including nearly 30,000 associates in nine core countries, over 800 retail and commercial truck centers and 22 manufacturing facilities.
McClellan is a proven leader with a track record of delivering results and has consistently demonstrated his ability to win market share, deliver growth and restore businesses to profitability.
In his current role, McClellan orchestrated a turnaround around strategy for Goodyear’s North America business and oversaw the successful integration of its Latin America and North America regions.
McClellan led the company to achieve and maintain its No.1 brand position, leadership in original equipment, award-winning products and services, cutting-edge interactive capabilities and aligned distribution network. In addition, he established Goodyear’s Connected Business Model to unite these core assets, enabling the company to capture its full value in the market, create a competitive advantage and build the foundation for continued growth and leadership in the new mobility landscape.
Notably, McClellan also spearheaded the formation of TireHub, a joint venture with Bridgestone Americas Inc., that is positioned to become one of the largest distributors of consumer tires to dealers and retailers across the U.S.
