They need to get better at listening to employees. Leaders are handed positions based on relationships with or without any real experience or qualifications. They may have more knowledgeable people report to them. Instead of embracing and learning from them, they feel threatened or intimidated.
Focus on people instead of managing by report.
They are elitist. We are told all of the time not to call anyone that essentially has a title even if they are who our questions should be directed to...not to call them for assistance or answers for customers. Regardless of the customers wealth or power.
The majority of the work is performed by the bottom 80% of employees while the majority of the compensation goes to the top 20%. The differential between the low paid and high paid is much too high. This leaves employees feeling undervalued and working only to increase the pay to the top levels.
Keep private conversations private - enough of the 'cloak and dagger' company politics.
Better communication and goal setting.
Treat employees like adults, become less dictatorial and more harmonious with employees and stop acting like executives and leadership are more important than any other employee.

More assistance from direct managers with angry customers. More assistance in other divisions so processing is faster so customers are not having to call so often to check on their request.

Management is a problem and that should be addressed.
I have explained what is work. It needs a cultural overhaul. There are no written policies or procedures...no formal training on processes
