Mr. J. Christopher Gillespie serves as Senior Vice President of Operations at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation. Mr. Gillespie served as Senior Vice President of Hydraulic and Mechanical Dredging at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation. He served as a Vice President -International Operations, Manager of International & Special Projects and Vice President at Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation since 1997 and also served as its Special Projects Manager and Vice President of Hydraulic and Mechanical Dredging. Mr. Gillespie worked with Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corp. for an average of 20 years and held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of engineering, estimating and domestic and international operations. He joined Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corp. in 1987 as a Project Engineer and previously served as a Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers. Mr. Gillespie earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and a graduate degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Tulane.
