Not difficult; work/life balance is pretty good, and you know you are going to be working long hours with plenty of advance notice more than 95% of the time

That Indiana winters were this darned cold... -16 isn't abnormal. Sunbirds may not last long in the frigid temps and gray hazy winter days.

Improving steadily as SAP Business One has improved and the leadership team has identified there is much still to do to make the system work or to start over from scratch.

Great vibe; we work anywhere from 40-60 hours/week, depending on the forecast and schedule. This is cyclical, largely dependent on the trade show circuit and our specific client needs.
What's the Operations team like at Group Delphi?
Led by a Director, there are five Business Units--Production, Warehouse, Project Management, Detailing, and Graphics. Each Business Unit Leader is functionally responsible for all that goes on within their Business Unit, including hiring/firing, training, coaching, and team member development. The Director also has responsibility for the Facility, Safety & Security, Rental Program, and I&D Services. The Director is a member of the Leadership Team, consisting of Executives and Directors from both facilities in CA and IN.
How's the leadership on the Operations team at Group Delphi?
The Operations leadership in Roanoke, IN are superb--committed, engaged, forward-thinking agents of change and excellence in all operational processes. Other departments have been and continue to be working to catch up! Not that we don't have our problems; we do. But the operations leadership team is engaged in correcting those issues and ensuring our customers have insanely great service through our project delivery.

Primarily Open Office environment for all but Directors and Executives; Sit/Stand desks at all office workstations; low ambient noise level; 8' x 8' personal workspaces, abundance of reservable private conference room space; lots of glass and intelligent design elements
What's the interview process like at Group Delphi?
I had two rounds of interviews with 3-4 different business unit leaders (mid- and high-level managers) in addition to my boss and direct coworkers. Things were relatively laid back as far as interviews go, and there was more than enough time for me to interview them during the process as well. In addition to digging in to my technical background, there were plenty of questions about process and probing for a good company fit.
