Mr. Erik R. Hirsch serves as the Vice Chairman at Hamilton Lane Advisors. Mr. Hirsch has been Vice Chairman at Hamilton Lane Incorporated since October 2016 and serves as its Head of Strategic Initiatives. He served as Chief Investment Officer at Hamilton Lane Incorporated since April 2003 until October 2016. and served as its Managing Director, Vice President and Associate. Mr. Hirsch joined Hamilton Lane on March 29, 1999 and is responsible for managing its investment activities, research activities, including primary funds, secondary and co-investments, negotiations of investments and reporting on industry trends and developments. Mr. Hirsch was a corporate investment banker in the merger and acquisition department of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. from 1998 to 1999. From 1995 to 1998, he was a municipal financial consultant with Public Financial Management, specializing in asset securitization, strategic consulting and sport stadium financings. Mr. Hirsch has been the Chairman of Boston Illiquid Securities Offering Network, Inc. since October 2016. Mr. Hirsch's extensive experience in private markets, including his long tenure managing Hamilton Lane investments as Chief Investment Officer and has valuable industry-specific knowledge and insights to the board of directors and provides the board of directors with an in-depth understanding of its business and operations. Mr. Hirsch serves as a Director of iLevel Solutions, LLC. On behalf of Hamilton Lane and its clients, he serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Roark, Texas Pacific Group, Carlyle, Apollo, Blackstone, Leonard Green, Kelso and Kohlberg Partners. Mr. Hirsch served as a Member of Advisory Board of American Securities. Mr. Hirsch serves on the board of Philadelphia's Mural Arts Program. He is a frequently quoted expert on the private equity industry, both in the print and broadcast media. Mr. Hirsch has been quoted extensively and has served as a resource in Forbes, Fortune, Business Week, The Wall Street Journal and numerous industry journals. In addition, he has appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg TV and BizRadio.com as a private equity expert. Mr. Hirsch holds a B.A. degree from the University of Virginia.
