He serves as Publishing Director and President of Marketing of Magazines at The Hearst Corporation since June 2010. He served as an Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and Publishing Director of Hearst Magazines at The Hearst Corporation since January 2001. Mr. Clinton joined Hearst in October 1997 as Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer and served as its Group Publisher. Mr. Clinton served as a Senior Vice President of group sales and marketing at Cond?? Nast revamped Cond?? Nast Publications's. Mr. Clinton spent a total of 10 years at GQ magazine, including six years as publisher from 1988 to 1994 at the time, GQ magazine's youngest publisher. He delivered the three 2001. He served as a Executive Vice President of Cond?? Nast Publications, where he oversaw sales and marketing for Cond?? He joined GQ as Advertising Manager. Mr. Clinton served seven years at Fairchild Publications, in both Editorial and Ad Management Positions. He serves as the Chairman of the Volunteers of America. He served as the Chairman of the American Magazine Conference. He served as the Chairman of Magazine Publishers Of America. He serves as a Director of the Starlight Foundation and Lifetime Television Network. He has been a Director of The Hearst Corporation since March 2011. Mr. Clinton serves as a Director of NatMag Rodale Limited. He has led expeditions to Nepal, Patagonia, and to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise funds for Starlight. He served on the Advisory Board for the Pace University Graduate School of Business. He is honored by Pace University Graduate School of Business by having the Michael Clinton Award for Distinguished Service in Publishing, at The Pitt News, the campus newspaper of his alma mater, named after him. Mr. Clinton is an avid traveler and photographer. He has held a number of gallery exhibitions. He is the author of two books, Wanderlust: 100 Countries, A Personal Journey, a collection of essays and photographs from all seven continents, and Global Snaps. He serves as a Director of The Advertising Council, Inc. Mr. Clinton graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in economics and political science from the University of Pittsburgh, and earned his MBA from Pace University's Lubin Graduate School of Business.
