What do you like best about the leadership team?
Well that's fine it's my birthday today and researching years helps me deal with that that Hearst media is admired some of the people that they been around for a long time and now I see there's a reason for that they we're very intelligent family of had a lot of haters of that's big business.
They have your back and want you to succeed.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Leadership is extremely disconnected from Charlotte staff. Most decisions are made by executives that are unfamiliar with the service center's needs and structure. Internal leadership is poorly trained and unable to provide appreciation gestures of monetary value due to budget constraints.
Transparency . A better grasp of finer points of specific duties.
Doing there job to persevere the foundation of its company goal to promote better business practices and improve productivity while reaching profitability.. to not discriminate against any one under law and to act professional within the company supposed standards.All do respect youneed restructurin
Putting people first. They need to take into account that everyone has been working non-stop for the past 2 years in the middle of a global pandemic. Mental health needs to be a priority within the organization allowing for employees to take time off as needed.
Value substance more, flash less.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The union negotiated a fair settlement on behalf of O employees
I am very happy with my compensation!
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Salaries are based upon a 40 hour work week, however understaffing make an 8 hour day impossible. Hearst's compensation is well below Charlotte area averages. Insurance premiums are extremely high and 401k match amounts are unimpressive.
If i was paid as contractually written.
Well honestly in my belief I paid my dues and I would never wish the hardship if endured on the people who violated my rights and my contract more importantly my equity and pursuit of happiness which from my opinion it's not there fault entirely . Your a product of your environment and iv studied...
I am not paid based on my experience in the industry, the company, or my education level. We do not discuss raises or opportunities for upward mobility on reviews. This leads to an overall lack of motivation.
The pay needs to increase for the amount of work we do.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Less sitting more working . Undrrmining is a weakness to stabilty
Teamwork.. equality within a respectable perspective. A form of incentive to increase productivity while reaching profitability by utilizing each person's ability to achieve maximum efficiency and quality. Essentially a sense of achievement within the parameters of there job duties. I got endless..
Communication is the issue. No one responds to emails in a timely manner. Deadlines are not met. Too much hand-holding and not enough collaboration.
More communication. No other issues.
I think it would be very beneficial to meet outside of work once in awhile to get to know each other better and build the team.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Diverse working groups are encouraged & promoted at a corporate level.
Everyone is very considerate and kind.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Better training. Better retention policy. New leadership.
A full restructuring of new products to offer morale compassion and hope within the community it inspires. "Remember the maine" I highly doubt you reading this understands but the owner should. I offer a trade in lue of speaking directly with a member of the hearst family. My ideas are worththe time
Allowing for mental health PTO, shorter or more flexible hours, removing unnecessary KPIs that employees are constantly told they're not measuring up to, decreasing the workload or at least changing expectations to scale. Creating a customer-centric environment where revenue isn't the only metric.
Have more faith in employees
Place greater trust in people in the field.

Being allowed to do my job in the most effective way
Believe it or not.. doing my job professionally and the best that I can. Unfortunately the digital age will render most jobs obsolete. I have ideas that could and will save a good portion of the people that honestly deserve to keep there titles even if they don't deserve to maintain their position.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Lack of accountability lack of labor standards enforcement
Create better processes to manage increasing workload by implementing better processes and workflows. Streamline internal communication to make it more efficient and effective. Create a customer-first environment where revenue increase isn't the only thing everyone cares about. Listen to employees.
Just a time of transition in industry. Figuring out what works.

Who is excited to go to work? That's a dumb question. Moderately to highly political environment can be challenging.
