Cleo Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Best for me is the Flexibility. Would Like some oppoortimuty for part tume health benefits at some level

I feel like it is a competitive wage.

Review from Operations Dept

Combination fair salary with additional compensation for specialist expertise

Review from Operations Dept

I don't know as I am not an a contracted employee but IC

Review from Operations Dept

The Health benefits package is the best.

Review from Operations Dept

The insurance being 0 cost to me!

Review from Operations Dept

I am not eligible due to PT

I like the ability to somewhat have flexible hours.

Review from Customer Support Dept

Having access to the Cleo benefit ourselves is amazing.

Review from Operations Dept

As an independent contractor, I appreciate the training stipend, flexible hours, remote work stipend. As we don't get a lot of the other perks (pelvic floor PT, Headspace app, paid leave is not available) it feels a little disappointing.

Review from Operations Dept

PTO, 2 free vacations a year

Review from Customer Support Dept

The fair accumulation of PTO

Review from Customer Support Dept

The best part of my package is that it is paid on time every month!

Review from Operations Dept

The unlimited paid time off

Review from Operations Dept

The wellness bundle is great

Review from Operations Dept

I don't know how to answer that. It would be nice to get medical/dental/vision for part time. I can see setting a minimum amount of time working for the company to put that is place, but it would be awesome!

Review from Customer Support Dept

I love that as a part-time employee I get PTO! I wish holidays were prorated and I wish I could buy into the health insurance benefit as I have to purchase mine privately.

Review from Operations Dept

I'm loving the one medical benefit

Review from Operations Dept

Fair salary and timely monthly payments.

Review from Operations Dept

competitive wages for specialist work. the specialist work makes the wages as a part-time guide possible. i would not be able to live off the guide swages alone.

Review from Operations Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Looking at similar companies our benefits are not competitive. Ex: 3,000 Child Care Fund - Maven, 5,000 Professional, Development fund - TLN, 401 K match - multiple companies, Family Planning benefits - surrogacy and adoption not covered, Tech fund, etc.

Review from Operations Dept

Even though there is a need for more specialists sessions across all 3 products, only 2 of the products have made them available which has limited my availability to be compensated as a specialist in my field. Additionally, full time and senior guides are not offered paid holidays, only 2 floating.

Review from Operations Dept

I feel that my pay rate is not comparable to the industry standard.

Review from Operations Dept

Salaries are not competitive while workload expectations continue to increase.

Review from Operations Dept

Asked to work an increasingly unflexible job that has not accountsd for the added demands on working parents' time and childcare costs

Review from Operations Dept

Pay does not cover cost of living in most places, especially considering childcare costs and the decrease in flexibility and self-set schedule within the guide role

Review from Operations Dept

I think that because of certain projects and teams I'm involved with, I do a fair amount more work and work focused on growing Cleo than some other Guides, and wish that there were an option for my hourly pay to reflect that without being promoted to a different position.

Review from Operations Dept

Cleo's compensation structure takes advantage of the Guide Team being trained in traditionally feminized, and therefore deeply undervalued, professions. Publicly support women in workplace for marketing, but internally squeezing the frontline & providing tiny/infrequent increases w/ no transparency.

Review from Operations Dept

The requirements are hard to do in a part time hours, and this impacts my ability to earn in my private practice - which I need to help bring my income to cover the cost of living.

Review from Operations Dept

We hear all the time that Guides are the "secret sauce" of Cleo- the key to its program and success, yet I do not believe that guides are compensated fairly. To have either a higher hourly rate or benefits of some sort would make me feel much better.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel the MemberOps team is underpaid across the board. Promoting Guides from within the organization results in a pay structure that is not at all aligned with market value for the impact that these individuals are making on the company.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I don't feel undervalued but it could be better. I think some physical benefits- like health, physio, bodywork would be practical especially the impact of being sedentary & self-employed. Pay could be increased esp. for independent contractor guides (esp. with huge childcare costs+living costs).

Review from Customer Support Dept

The compensation at Cleo for my role is well under market value. I cannot afford childcare at the wage i am currently paid. There is no adjustment for locality, high education or certifications. Overall in a company thst promotes supporting work life balance I struggle to even work with the low wage

Review from Operations Dept

As an employee, I make significantly less than consultants doing much less vital and important tasks than I do. People I supervise make a lot more than me because of their consultant/specialist role, but I too am a specialist working deep in my scope.

Review from Operations Dept

I've been with the company for a few years now and received one, 1.5% pay raise. A raise to at least offset inflation would be nice.

Review from Customer Support Dept

There disparity with currency conversion

Review from Operations Dept

Upon being hired, I asked if I could start at a higher compensation given my extensive experience - however, I was told due to me only having a bachelor's degree (no masters or certification), they would not be able to offer me more.

Review from Customer Support Dept

As an IC I do not get paid time off, however I am not compensated to reflect this. In previous roles as an independent contractor, I was paid significantly more than employees to reflect the fact that I did not get PTO or benefits. I am paid the same rate as my counter-parts who get PTO and benefits

Review from Operations Dept

I'm spread across areas that aren't my speciality and often feel like I'm failing in those areas (even if I'm not, really; i spend too much time looking for answers or supports I'm not strong in, ,but there's also a huge needs for the knowledge and supports I can provide...)

Review from Customer Support Dept

on the intl team we are ICs and not employees and do not get many of the benefits employees get. I feel pay wages are not out in the open and everyone on my team is being paid different amounts... plus the fact we are in higher tax brackets as ICs than those gettings W2s though being paid the same
