They don't pay enough to keep up with the times

I love my coworkers, but the way that corporate has been treating us lately has been incredibly demoralizing.

Use to be great but now..... nobody cares except for themselves.

Great its a good job to have

Miserable, management is clueless, communication is nonexistent, employees are treated like criminals and management always assumes the worst in them, your ideas won't be considered unless credit can be taken by someone up the chain

My manager is great. The executives are woefully out of touch though. Again please keep this confidential. Otherwise I could be fired.

Theyre really a cool group to work with

Take a more hands-on approach

Realizing that cutbacks don't pan out. They cutback hours do they can get a bonus but is it really a bonus when you are telling others they can't work because you are greedy and you want more in your pocket. And then you don't have staff to help customers so they go elsewhere to shop

great retirement and generous time off

Because we are undervalued. Even after all the work we've done throughout 2020-2021, our hours are being cut because "labor is the most controllable expense".

Honestly, you would not believe what goes on behind the scenes.

Treat employees with respect, offer a pension

I would love to make a living wage. I make $10/h currently, which is not enough to live on.

Being reinstated to full time instead of part time so i can have my benefirs back.

My team cares immensely about the work they do. We work fantastically together.

They know what they're doing.

While I am highly critical of HyVee as a company, and of the management, my coworkers are wonderful people. In fact, I am so critical of HyVee because I respect and admire my coworkers and hate to see them struggle at the hands of the corporation.

I work with some great people

Everyone is super nice and helpful. This company holds onto people because they reward them for service. My moms worked there over 35 years and you get bonus items for free every 5 years. At 40 you can get a new car or truck with all taxes paid if you want. Or a trip anywhere in the world

Communicate more effectively regarding important notifications and job duties.

I enjoy working in the backstock room of my department and not having to interact with customers, just doing my own work.

The CEO and other executives and managers/directors need to learn to pay reliable employees a living wage and not think of them as just a number.
