If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Howl at the Moon?
Top Employee Response
Don't let the staff stray away from what sets Howl apart from their competition: The Show. Don't allow the band or the waitstaff to get lazy because the whole bar will suffer.Word gets around quick when regulars notice the level of entertainment is dropping or if you can't seem to keep waitstaff for more than 2 months.
What interview questions does Howl at the Moon ask?
Top Employee Response
Before they ask you anything about your skills, they first take a good, hard look at you. Honestly, everyone seems to prefer the "hot" bartender. Inexperience they can fix, ugly or fat, you're on your own. I'm not saying that I agree w/their methods of "evaluation", but that's just the way it is in the barlife. I really wish it wasn't. Though I did love that job for 5 years, and the "scenery" was great, it did seem to affect the level of quality conversation during slow shifts.
