The only solution would be a complete restructure of leadership, but that is unlikely to happen.

The process is cumbersome and slow with long spans of time with no communication to candidates.

Knowing that one day I can retire...or find a better opportunity with an organization that actually cares about their employees.

Ultimately, I feel I am compensated enough to put up with immoral and unethical behavior; however, more and more I am reconsidering that feeling.

I see many employees navigate through the political land mines of this organization with the intent of just doing the best job they can. It is encouraging to know that they can find success in spite of the environment they work in.
