Dr. Mehrotra is a widely-recognized leader in the field of predictive analytics, forecasting and dynamic price optimization.
Prior to co-founding IDeaS, Dr. Ravi Mehrotra designed solutions to real time scheduling and transportation problems at Texas Instruments and Andersen Consulting. He concurrently taught Electrical & Computer Engineering courses at North Carolina State University. As an assistant professor at North Carolina State University, Dr. Mehrotra invented new models for parallel computing, designed & analyzed both asynchronous & randomized algorithms for distributed processing, and reviewed proposals for key government scientific agencies.
Dr. Mehrotra is constantly researching new models and solution techniques that provide increasingly efficient real time dynamic pricing strategies over multiyear time horizons for one on one and total revenue management. In his spare time, Dr. Mehrotra can be found passionately demonstrating complex algorithms in the company break room.
