Lack of leadership and respect for avg. works.

Global grading like "military ranks", causes a lot of friction in team work. Unfair promotion concept (management visibility versus technical expertise, only engineers of higher ranks justify advancement of lower ranks - peers are excluded etc.).

It is nice to work here.

+ Top notch, cutting edge innovation. + Great culture of sharing technical knowledge. + Smart technical people. - Lots of bureaucracy. - Decision making can be painfully slow (sometimes). - Lack of growth opportunities (in certain locations) (sometimes) depending on your area of interest.

They are located in head-quarters. It depends on your geographical location and your designation, whether you get to interact with them directly, and how often do you get to interact with them. If you are not in head quarters and not at Director level, then it’s only through All Hands Meeting

Pay is good, with good bonus that pays out every year so far. Stock grants are sometimes given as well

It is not about money - this is exactly the problem of the technical ladder scheme. One can not get higher if there is no position for the higher salary, which is strange...
