Not flexible at all. You are expected to be at your desk making your first phone calls by 7:30am every morning and you can not leave until 5:00pm on the dot (on a good day). On many days, you have sales meeting after 5:00pm or before 7:30am. Any expense related work or paperwork is expected to take place before 7:30am or after 5pm during your own time. There are often mandatory happy hours that necessitate you being on the clock well into the night, and frequent trips to Atlanta on the weekends for training and conferences. You are not paid overtime for any of these activities, even though the average IG employee is working a 50+ hour week.

Insight Global does not have a strict series of questions they ask during interviews. They are looking more for a "vibe" from you-that you are attractive, polished, personable, hard working, and passionate about sales.

There is no work from home policy at Insight Global.

There is no internship program at IG

Success is measured based on a set of sales metrics you are expected to hit on a weekly and quarterly basis. There is a pre-determined growth plan that everyone at Insight Global abides by.

You need to be confident, fast-paced, able to multitask, a hard worker, extremely social and personable.

7:30am to 5:00pm at the very least. These are EXTREMELY strict hours where you are expected to be at your desk in full hair, makeup, and business professional and you can not leave your desk until 5:00pm but most nights you are expected to stay later.

Competitive. One of the only good things that i can say about IG is that my base salary as an Account Manager was competitive even without commission

Extremely fun! We are regular people: bars, concerts, sporting events, brunch. We do it all.

Extremely. Deadlines are huge here. Sense of urgency is preached.

Know why you are a good candidate. Don't just show up and wing the interview, we can't stand that. Even though it's very conversational, know why you want to be here and why we want you. Also, GET TO KNOW YOUR INTERVIEWER. Sales is about relationships - show us you can build one in that interview room.

Solid. Probably the best thing we have going for us.

That every job has it's ups and downs. Whether or not it's a job worth while depends on your decision to attack your career or float along like most people.

Open floor plan. Everyone has desks, but no cubicles. Floor to ceiling windows. 360 views overlooking all of downtown, uptown, and Klyde-Warren Park

Young environment, but not just fun. These are some of the most hard working people building a company together. I love being a part of that. Doesn't feel like work when you are building something you feel like you own.

Everyone that is hired on is very A-Type personality. Not a ton of diversity in this regard.

40-50hrs per week. We are definitely sprinting through our day, but we have fun and joke around while doing it.

Very motivated. High base and uncapped commission makes for a happy sales force!
