How long do the interviews usually take at Instructure?
My engineering interview was four rounds, each an hour. Most were intro and technical questions for the first half, and then coding for the second half.

There is a lot of diversity. people from all types work here.
What's the office layout like at Instructure?
It's a little cramped but open. There are great views and no walls.
What unique perks and benefits does Instructure provide?
Several, there is a kitchen that has food and drinks in it that does not cost anything. The atmosphere is super laid back, you do not have to pay a premium for health care, and there is not a cap on PTO.
How would you describe your overall experience interviewing at Instructure?
It's really laid back and easy. They don't ask stupid questions.
How's the leadership on the IT team at Instructure?
The leadership is outstanding, I have never had such great leaders before.
What's the IT team like at Instructure?
Very cohesive. Everyone is friendly and works together as a team.
What's the vibe like in the IT dept at Instructure? How many hours are you working?
its typically 40 hours unless its spring or fall then it can be a little more but overtime is typically voluntary.

The pay scales at instructure a very fair and just what they should be for each position.
How's the work life balance at Instructure?
Fantastic - you work hard, but management recognizes the importance of a good family life and supports employees efforts to maintain that.
What do people at Instructure think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
We love our CEO. He's hilarious and a great communicator, at least as far as sharing info with the company in company-wide presentations. He's very smart so we respect that he knows what he's talking about on the developing side of things, and he's just a very eccentric character so he's highly entertaining. I really think he's great!
