Sohail Uddin Ahmed — Senior Vice President and General Manager of Technology & Manufacturing Group at Intel Corporation

Mr. Sohail Uddin Ahmed has been Senior Vice President of Intel Corporation since January 28, 2013 and serves as its General Manager of Technology & Manufacturing Group. Mr. Ahmed is responsible for the development and deployment of next-generation silicon logic technologies that produce future Intel microprocessors. He served as Director of Logic Technology Development in the Technology and Manufacturing Group at Intel Corporation. Previously, Mr. Ahmed served as Vice President of Logic Technology Development at Intel Corporation. He joined Intel in 1984, working as a process engineer. He has held several technical and management positions in logic process development, contributing to the development of patterning and thin film technology. He also worked on the development and transfer to high-volume manufacturing of the last eight generations of process technology. Most recently, he managed all logic technology patterning development, which included the deployment of advanced lithography into manufacturing. Mr. Ahmed earned a masters degree in chemical engineering from the University of California at Davis in 1982. He received a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California in 1981.
