How employees describe working at Jefferies & Company
They simply don't pay newer analysts and associates. The Jefferies way is to game the traditional IB compensation system and give *way below market* salaries to anyone with less than 10 years. I could earn the same by managing any small business. Actively looking to go even though they love my work
Management has very high expectations, talks about fair compensation, but does not deliver it. The company has been very successful, but the loyal employees driving that success don't reap the benefits.
