Leadership team seems tone-deaf regarding culture, pay, and why so many employees are leaving right now
Salary is clearly not a focus at JPL and is negatively impacted by limitations on science funding by the government. The benefits are pretty good.
Benefits are decent, pay is well below market value.

Having worked here for almost a decade, I have yet to meet even one person who I found unpleasant. People will disagree, sometimes heatedly, but I feel that I have been treated with disrespect very rarely, and usually as the result of a misunderstanding.

Love the science and missions we are working towards
Though JPL has made big strides forwards, it still has a relatively old work-force. This not only makes it harder for younger employees to achieve promotions, it also sets the organization up for severe staffing issues as established employees retire.
