From 1993 to 1996, she held various global executive positions with home appliances manufacturer Whirlpool Corporation. She serves as the Chairman of the Board at Wildlife Trust. Ms. Peterson has been an Independent Director of Microsoft Corporation since December 2, 2015. She served as a Director of Dun & Bradstreet, Inc./Dun & Bradstreet Corp. from September 2002 to October 2015. She served as a Director of Handleman Company from 2001 to November 16, 2005. She received a fellowship from the Robert Bosch Foundation in Stuttgart, Germany and spent a year serving with the German Finance Ministry and the Federation of German Industries. Ms. Peterson holds a B.A. in Government from Cornell University and an M.P.A. degree in Applied Economics from Princeton University.
