Ms. Sandra E. Peterson, also known as Sandi, has been Group Worldwide Chairman at Johnson & Johnson since December 1, 2012 and served as its Executive Vice President since May 2, 2016 until August 8, 2017. Ms. Peterson served as the President of Diabetes Care Division at Bayer HealthCare AG from May 10, 2005 to 2009. She has over a decade of experience on the board of another U.S. public company, Dun & Bradstreet. She served as the President of Diabetes Care Division at Bayer Healthcare LLC. She served as the Chairwoman of Management Board and Chief Executive Officer at Bayer CropScience AG, a division of Bayer AG from October 1, 2010 to November 30, 2012 and served as its Member of Board of Management from July 1, 2010 to November 30, 2012. She served as the Head of The Medical Care Division - Bayer HealthCare at Bayer AG from January 2009 to October 1, 2010. She served as the Head of Medical Care Division - Bayer HealthCare at Bayer CropScience AG from January 2009 to October 1, 2010. She served as a Senior Vice President of Health usinesses at Medco Health Solutions, Inc. from December 1998 to August 2003 and served as its Group President of Government - Medco Health from September 2003 to February 2004. She served as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Merck-Medco Managed Care LLC from January 1999 to March 2001. Her areas of responsibility at Medco included business development, strategy, cooperation management, product development, branding and marketing. As an Executive Management team member, she played a role in the strategic spin-off of Medco Health from Merck & Co., Inc. She served as Group President of Medco Health Solutions, Inc. She served as an Executive Vice President of Research & Development at RJR Nabisco Holdings Group, Inc., from April 8, 1996 to December 31, 1998. She held various executive positions at Nabisco and Whirlpool Corporation. She served as Management Consultant of McKinsey & Company from 1987 to 1993 and worked on brand marketing strategies, innovative product development and new business. From 1993 to 1996, she held various global executive positions with home appliances manufacturer Whirlpool Corporation. She serves as the Chairman of the Board at Wildlife Trust. Ms. Peterson has been an Independent Director of Microsoft Corporation since December 2, 2015. She served as a Director of Dun & Bradstreet, Inc./Dun & Bradstreet Corp. from September 2002 to October 2015. She served as a Director of Handleman Company from 2001 to November 16, 2005. She received a fellowship from the Robert Bosch Foundation in Stuttgart, Germany and spent a year serving with the German Finance Ministry and the Federation of German Industries. Ms. Peterson holds a B.A. in Government from Cornell University and an M.P.A. degree in Applied Economics from Princeton University.
