Pradeep Sindhu Ph.D. — Co-Founder, Chief Scientist, Executive VP & Technical Advisor at Juniper Networks

Dr. Pradeep Sindhu, Ph.D., serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Fungible Inc. Dr. Sindhu Co-founded Juniper Networks, Inc. in February 1996 and has been its Technical Advisor since May 25, 2017 and serves as its Executive Vice President. Dr. Sindhu has been Chief Scientist of Juniper Networks, Inc. since February 2017. Dr. Sindhu served as Chief Technical Officer of Juniper Networks, Inc. since September 1996. Dr. Sindhu served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Juniper Networks, Inc. until September 1996. From September 1984 to February 1991, Dr. Sindhu served as a Member of the Research Staff and from March 1987 to February 1996, as the Principal Scientist and from February 1994 to February 1996, as Distinguished Engineer at the Computer Science Lab, Xerox Corporation, Palo Alto Research Center, a technology research center. At PARC, he worked on design tools for VLSI and high-speed interconnects for shared-memory multiprocessors. He has over 20 years of industry experience in the design and implementation of high-performance networking and computer systems. Dr. Sindhu served as the Vice Chairman of Juniper Networks, Inc. since September 1996 until May 25, 2017 and served as its Director since February 1996 until May 252, 2017. Dr. Sindhu served as a Member of Advisory Board at PhyFlex Networks, Inc. (formerly, Narad Networks Inc.). He served as a Director of Zaffire, Inc. He served as a Director of Infinera Corp. (formerly, Infinera Inc.) since September 2001. He served as Outside Director of BlueSteel Networks, Inc. Dr. Sindhu holds a BSEE from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, an MSEE from the University of Hawaii and a Masters in Computer Science and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Carnegie-Mellon University.
