Ita all about money for the upper management, they pretend they have your interests at heart but would watch you drown the second a finger points at them.

If there honest and didn't hang you out to dry by finding any excuse they can to throw you under the bus from minuscule tasks that cause a headache or a massive safety issue they cause because of the pressure placed on any one individual.
