Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is swamped but they always make time for discussions and try their best to model how they want subordinates to perform. It's a unique environment (being a startup) with a lot of pressure and challenges, but the leadership team are extremely hardworking, and very approachable.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Its very fair and I am confident that as the company grows, our compensation will grow in parallel.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Its a startup so we knew what we were getting in to when we were hired. Lower compensation is par for the course and motivates us to work harder because the idea is if the company succeeds, we succeed (and our salaries go up)
Promised compensation is often delayed and equity never materialized.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are fair, reasonable and hard-working. I feel motivated every day to do my best to contribute to the teams efforts and I feel heard when I have input about my opinions about relevant matters in my department.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Great team, always look forward to spending time with them
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Uplifting co workers and safe space to voice disagreement
We make it a priority to spend time together outside of work as much as the pandemic allows
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Leadership needs to ensure employees are in the loop on what is going on, and limit micromanaging.
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was casual and more of a conversation than an intimidating firing squad
Interview process involved CTO at the time I was hired.

Engaging with customers, helping them succeed
Joking around with co-workers and interacting with our customers.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Vision and direction for the company needs to be determined and followed through on. Technical direction should accept input from engineering team.
