It started out well, but decreased as time went on. Forced meetings, secrets, people getting laid off, and uncertainty.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

More relaxed, less sociable, more privacy, and less forced "meetings" about nothing.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Normal designers in the Spokane area are paid a lot more. I know there are other people in other departments that are under-paid as well.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Stricter budgets, lying about the buy-out and that no one was laid off in the process, 'transparency' is not enforced like they said. A lot of secrets and hiding things from higher management.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Not forcing people to do 'Team Bonding' like children. Team bonding is important, and understandable. But to force people to make turkeys out of hands with crayons, or call team bonding lunch 'Marketing Meetings' is a misnomer.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Copywriting is stale and only in one voice for multiple partners and brands. Too formal for certain partners and brands. It's hard to work with the copywriter, as well as some marketing people. Other departments treat Marketing like we're inferior to them.
