It's was straight forward. That's all.
I put Kibo Commerce, and it's rotten CEO Dave Post, in the same league as Terminal Cancer. I wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy. The environment was absolutely toxic. Racial, homophobic slurs, and terrible microaggressions against black workers. Most quit. Some stayed and were pushed out.
Cohesiveness. But moral is very low.

How long does it take to hear back after applying to Kibo Commerce?
I heard back immediately. Same day. It was speedy. But they really needed to hire quickly. From the reviews now the company is ghosting people who interview.
What is the dress code at Kibo Commerce?
I would say business casual but it's not. I saw employees wearing jeans and flip flops and sandals. It's just whatever you would wear around the house.
How often do employees get raises at Kibo Commerce?
I worked at Kibo for over a year and I was tricked into a raise. I'm African American. After the change of leadership I suddenly had two white female superiors. One a direct manager and the other a director. People said they knew each other out of work. I don't know. All I know is one hired the other. They asked me if I wanted to be a point of contact for new hires because I had excellent numbers. They said all I would do is answer questions. They were giving an additional $.50 cents for this. I had to sign a form. When the job duties were finally uploaded in the system they had lied. They had taken the white managers job duties and pushed them down to me. Not only was I responsible for answering questions, my job evaluation and job security was suddenly tied to every other associate meeting their metrics. They had, in fact, made me a manager for $.50 cents. When I realized I had been tricked I went back into the office and asked them to cancel that agreement. They refused.
What is Kibo Commerce's internship program like?
I'm not too familiar with it. However it does not seem to be established. It's if someone in management knows a kid who needs experience they bring them in. People in management can do what it wants. Bypass HR etc and get folk placed on payroll from what I have gathered.
What kind of people does Kibo Commerce like to hire?
It hires smart people. However, after the new CEO came in, there started to be a lot of (linked) hiring. Meaning people who were related to people in positions of power. Or people who were close friends. They were able to bring in family and kids of friends. The environment became very toxic.
How do you feel about going to work at KIBO everyday?
