What do you like best about the leadership team?
Very understanding of family needs. Time off is not something that you are afraid to ask for. Tons of overtime allowed, there is always something to do. Great communication and relatability! No one acts as thought they are better than you.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Planing, cominication,and consistancy need improvement
No feedback on performance or work
Guidance. Personally been dealing with a manager who doesn't know how to do any one job of the people on the team. We are overworked and underpaid to make this person look good at all times.
Actual concern for personnel and the job they have to do. Pay and benefits to match job being done.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
All Benefits start immediately. 2 separate retirement packages, stock options and insurance prices are fair considering Kinder Morgan pays most of my policies.

Benefits are very good. Salary is average.
The combination of pension and 401k contributions are amazing
Fantastic health+life insurance, 401k, and, pension plans.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Fair market value that keeps up with the econamy.
I should get paid enough to be able to afford a house / mortgage, not barely surb
Going on 13 years, new hires make a little less then me. Unbelievable!

I work too hard to make others look good. I prepare everything in a nice package for management, management does not review they read my package like a script to highest management. Someone smarter in top management will call it out as wrong, I will get yelled at for mistake, work tireless to solve.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Their willingness to perform their daily tasks and the honesty when it could not be completed.

One of the best teams i have ever worked
Nice people, but their knowlwdge is questionable.
Majority of the work force buy in and invest in the culture.
It is mostly a team of women.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Company culture is to blame, say this is not my problem, and avoid helping each other out. People who are notorious to be difficult wear it like a badge of honor.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
A focus on work life balance is very clear
Pride and ownership of the facility.
Human resources is an actual resource at KM.
Everyone enjoys each other's company. We work as a team and always willing to lend a helping hand.
Working with local team is a lot of fun and the team is focused on supporting each other and accomplishing the mission.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Flexiblity needs to be changed. Managers need to start caring.
All top management needs to go. They've created a monstrous culture of in fighting, overly high expectations, and negative attitudes. Every meeting is a competition for who is the smartest, and there seems to be joy in humiliating someone publicly.

Engagement. Being rated by abilities and potential.

The interview process consisted of multiple individual interviews both over the phone and in person. This allows you to meet more potential coworkers and get a better feel for the company culture
My hobbies were fun to discuss.
Everyone was easy-going, which made me realize this was the team I would like to work with.

The company is an oil and gas company. Most people want to see more green renewable resources.

Top management needs to change or go, the culture of this organization is toxic and it rest solely on them. It's too stressful to have everyday be one where you might get blasted on a e-mail with the organization cced, or filleted in a meeting in front of your peers.
