What do you like best about the leadership team?
I can always walk in the door and talk to my terminal manager. The door is open for drivers. I can talk to the whole team if needed.
Professional . They go through chain of command to make a decision.
There understanding, respectful, and hold themselves in a very professional manner.
The culture and opportunity for growth.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listen to your drivers. Pay them GOOD wages. Fire Dave Jackson
Making decisions. Listening to the staff. Taking care of customers.
Need new leadership. Keep running things the same way, get the same bad results.
Treating the drivers like they are human beings instead of animals in cages. A truck driver's life and family has no meaning to the management of Knight transportation.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Vacation pay is nice, but could be better.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
My pay needs to nearly triple to make the amount of mental stress, physical stress, emotional stress, danger to my physical well-being, and indeed my life, as well as family stress to even consider being close to fairly compensated.
The pay disparity is a joke. Two people doing the same job can be paid extremely different.
Driver should be paid for every mile they have to drive. They should not be shorted 10% and then have the terminal manager mock and belittle them and tell them there's not a damn thing you can do about and it we don't care. Paul Johnides and Ben Greenly cheated me out of a lot of money.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They stay in contact and answer questions pretty regularly
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
It's an individualistic job, my co-workers are fine
Stop all the complaining. Do your job. Quit worrying about everyone else and do your job.
There is no interaction between drivers. We are trapped in trucks out on the road.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The open door policy we have.
Everyone's friendly and willing to help each other
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Virtually everything. This company actively hates it's drivers and only sees us as liabilities.
New leadership. Put people in positions who know what they are doing. Not just promoting their friends.
What did you like most about the interview process?
Its straight forward, nothing new.
Once you qualify to get in by passing physical and drug screen, it's all about completing paperwork.
They look through what you need and what works best for you before setting anything in stone

They don't listen to customer's issues and they don't listen to the work staff.
Service to our customers is terrible. They lose customers and big ones because of it.
