When I started in 2017 I absolutely loved my job. However as time passes, I dislike it more and more everday. I've had to fight to make the same wage as starting employees and now im a brand new food manager in a kitchen with no staff and very little training. I'm so over it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Honestly nothing. I really dislike working for Kum & Go. Mang of my coworkers agree
What are some of the best things about your team?
No matter what this company throws at them they almost always have a smile on their faces.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
When I can go to another company and make the same or more with better benefits it is so hard to stay. The only thing I enjoy is the set schedules.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Literally everything. They need to pay their employees better, treat them with more respect, and offer better benefits. No one should have to deal with what i and other coworkers have dealt with.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
As I've said before, better pay and benefits. We are so understaffed right now because people are leaving for better. If Kum & Go would just offer more and treat their people better then we wouldnt be in the position we are in.
