Mr. Robert Glen Goldstein, also known as Rob, has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS) since January 2015. Mr. Goldstein has been the President and Chief Operating Officer of Las Vegas Sands, LLC since January 1, 2015. Mr. Goldstein served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, a Division of Venetian Casino Resort LLC from July 2009 to 2011. He was responsible for the oversight of daily operations of the four cornerstones of the resort's success - its hotel, food and beverage, casino and retail operations. He served as a Vice President of The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino since January 1999 and President and Chief Operating Officer of The Palazzo Casino Resort from December 2008 to 2011. He served as Interim President of Sands China Ltd. from March 06, 2015 to November 01, 2015. He served as the President of Global Gaming Operations at Las Vegas Sands Corp. from January 01, 2011 to December 2014. He served as an Executive Vice President of Las Vegas Sands Corp. from July 2009 to December 2014. He served as Senior Vice President at Las Vegas Sands Inc., a subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands Corp., from December 1995 to 1997. Mr. Goldstein served as Senior Vice President of Las Vegas Sands Corp., a holding of Venetian Casino Resort LLC., from August 2004 to July 2009. From 1992 to December 1995, he served as the Executive Vice President of Marketing at the Sands Hotel in Atlantic City as well as an Executive Vice President of the parent Pratt Hotel Corporation. Since joining The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino in 1995, he has been instrumental in attracting premier retailers, restaurateurs, the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum and the world-class Canyon Ranch SpaClub to the hotel. He also played a major role in the 2003 opening of the $275 million, 12-story, 1,013-suite Venezia hotel tower - Las Vegas' only hotel featuring a concierge level. Under the day-to-day management of Mr. Goldstein, The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino has quickly soared to the top of the hotel world - a rise that included ending 2003 with arguably the single greatest revenue-producing year in hotel history, further validation of a unique business strategy which caters to the destination's special blend of tourist, gaming and business travelers. Before joining The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino, he spent 15 years developing casino-hotels in both the United States and the Caribbean. In 1981, he joined the Sands in Atlantic City as Director of casino marketing, earning a series of promotions and ultimately becoming Vice president of marketing and Executive vice president. He also served as an Executive Vice President of Pratt Hotel Corporation. He has been a Non-Executive Director of Sands China Ltd. since March 06, 2015. He has been an Independent Director at Las Vegas Sands Corp. since January 29, 2015. He served as an Independent Director at Remark Media, Inc. from May 14, 2013 to March 1, 2017. Mr. Goldstein served as a Non-Executive Director of the Las Vegas Sands, LLC since May 30, 2014 to March 5, 2015. He served as a Director of Western Liberty BanCorp. from October 2010 to March 2012. In 1980, he became a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Goldstein holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977 and a J.D. from Temple University School of Law in 1980.
