Ying Wai Wong G.B.S, SBS, JP, MPA, BSoc.Sc. — President & COO of Sands China Ltd at Las Vegas Sands

Mr. Wong Ying Wai, also known as Wilfred, GBS, SBS, JP, MPA, BSoc.Sc., has been the President and Chief Operating Officer at Sands China Ltd. since November 2015. Mr. Wong serves as the President of China Investment Group Limited. He is a Co-Founder of Yangtze China Investment Ltd. and serves as its Chairman. He was the Founder of Pinnacle State Group. He serves as Executive Chairman of the Board at PS Hong Kong Limited. He served as a Senior Adviser to Hsin Chong Construction Group Ltd. (now Hsin Chong Group Holdings Limited) since November 1, 2015. Mr. Wong served as Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hsin Chong Construction Group Ltd. from July 1, 2012 to October 31, 2015. He served as Executive Chairman of Pacific Star Holding Pte. Ltd. (now Pacific Star Development Limited). He served as an Executive Director at Hsin Chong Construction Group Ltd. from December 2007 to November 2015. He served as an Executive Director of Synergis Holdings Ltd. since September 27, 2008. Mr. Wong served as the Vice Chairman and Chief Operating Officer of the Board of Shui On Land Limited from February 2004 to May 1, 2007. He served as the Managing Director of Henderson China Holdings Limited since 1999, where he formulated its strategy to undertake real estate and high tech developments in the Chinese Mainland. He joined Shui On Holdings Limited in September 2000. He served as the Managing Director of Shui On Holdings Limited. He serves as Vice Chairman at Shui on Group. Mr. Wong worked for the Hong Kong government between 1975 and 1992, where, latterly, he served as Deputy Director-General of Industry and then Deputy Secretary for the Civil Service. He left the civil service to become Deputy Chief Executive of K.Wah International Limited, a Hong Kong-listed group engaged in construction materials, real estate development, hotel management and chain restaurant operations. Mr. Wong serves as a Deputy Vice Chairman at Mission Hills Group Limited. He served as the Chairman of Synergis Holdings Ltd., from July 1, 2012 to December 11, 2015 and served as its an Executive Deputy Chairman from September 27, 2008 to July 2012. He served as a Deputy Chairman of the Board of Hsin Chong Construction Group Ltd. from December 2007 to July 2012. He served as Vice-Chairman of SOCAM Development Limited, Shui On Construction & Materials Ltd., and Shui On Holdings Limited. until June 1, 2006. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director of Xinyi Glass Holdings Ltd. since November 1, 2007. He has been an Executive Director of Sands China Ltd. since January 22, 2016. Mr. Wong has been a Non-Executive Director of Henderson China Holdings Ltd. since November 1999. He has been Director of Yangtze China Investment Ltd. since December 2007. He served as Non Executive Director of Synergis Holdings Ltd. from November 1, 2015 to December 11, 2015. He served as a Director of Airport Authority Hong Kong from June 2005 to June 1, 2011. He served as a Director of Shui On Holdings Limited. He served as a Director of Shui On Land Limited until May 1, 2007. He served as an Executive Director at SOCAM Development Limited and Shui On Construction & Materials Ltd., from September 2000 to June 1, 2006. He served as Independent Non-executive Director at Cosway Corporation Limited from March 17, 2010 to March 4, 2011. He served as Director of Hong Kong Tourism Board. He served as a Non-Executive Director of Shui On Construction & Materials Ltd., since 1997. He served as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Easyknit Enterprises Holdings Ltd. (now Eminence Enterprise Limited) from September 2000 to April 25, 2003. Mr. Wong was appointed as an Official Adviser to the drafting of the Basic Law in Hong Kong and transitional matters relating to the establishment of the HKSAR Government. He is a Deputy in the National People's Congress of the PRC and a Member of the Selection Committee of the HKSAR for selecting the Chief Executive of the HKSAR Government. He is also a Justice of the Peace. His public service continues through his participation in a number of councils and committees. He serves as Chairman of HKSAR Social Welfare Advisory Committee, a Board Member of HKSAR Airport Authority, a Member of the Commission on Poverty, a Member of HKSAR Public Service Commission, Chairman of Hong Kong International Film Festival Society Limited, a Trustee of the Business and Professionals Federation of Hong Kong, Deputy Chairman of the Court and Council of the Hong Kong Baptist University, among his other positions. He graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Hong Kong. He received a Diploma in Management Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and studied Post-graduate Administrative Development at Oxford University, England. Mr. Wong also holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Harvard University in the USA.
