Jean-Jacques Charhon — CFO & Executive VP of Finance at Laureate Education

Mr. Jean-Jacques Charhon, also known as JJ, has been Executive Vice President for Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Laureate Education, Inc. since January 1, 2018. Mr. Charhon served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at Purdue Pharma L.P since 2015. Mr. Charhon was responsible for Purdue's financial, procurement and information technology functions. He joined Purdue in 2015 from Cnova N.V, one of the largest global eCommerce companies, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from July 2014 to September 2014 and was responsible for financial, procurement and information technology functions. Prior to joining Cnova, he worked for four years for Hewlett Packard, where he joined as Chief Financial Officer of the PC division before becoming Chief Operating Officer of Enterprise Services, LLC since August 2012. He served as Chief Financial Officer at HP Enterprise Services, LLC until August 2012 and served as its Senior Vice President. He served at General Electric for eight years and at Novartis for four years, where he held various Global Financial Leadership roles of increasing responsibility. His last role at Novartis was Global Head of Business Planning, Analysis & Investor Relations. He earned his Baccalaureate in Math, Physics & Chemistry at the French Lycee of Brussels and and a Commercial Engineering degree from the Solvay School of Management at the Universit??? Libre de Bruxelles and holds a Master in Business Administration from the Universite Libre de Bruxelles Solvay School of Management.
