What is the best part about your compensation package?
My job as online student advisor at Laureate Education has no health care benefits and pays less than my primary job as recycle sorter at the waste facility but I can work at Laureate Education in the evenings.
Overall value is very high
They offer great benefits and the compensation is fair for the work we do.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I earn more money working at the regional waste facility
Part-time eligible for stock options and more benefits.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Smart, dedicated, aligned, collaborative, execution focused, and innovative. Always keeps iur mission in focus.
Team members are conscientious and they care, but senior management takes us for granted.
We are virtually anonymous so we don't gossip
Dedicated to serving our students and helping them make a difference as social change agents.
My team is very trusting.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
The small intra-departmental meetings are effective and productive. The large all-hands meetings are a waste of time, a webinar or video conference would be more effective.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Collaborative, innovative, trusting, and enabling.
You can be online to participate as required but you can relax and not say anything.

It has taken time, but trust and transparency have grown.

It was fast and an offer was made quickly.
