Mr. Raman Suri is the President at LendingClub Asset Management, LLC. Mr. Suri also serves as a Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Investors at LendingClub Corporation since August 24, 2016. He has several years of experience in investment management, product and business development to Lending Club. Mr. Suri is responsible for driving the firm's retail investor channel, focuses on self-directed retail, registered investment advisors, brokerage distribution strategies, and product development. He served a variety of senior roles at BlackRock iShares and its predecessor, Barclays Global Investors (BGI), including Head of RIA and Institutional Segments and Head of Product for US iShares. At BlackRock, Mr. Suri was responsible for expanding the iShares product line to over 200 products across asset classes leading to a democratizing of investment choices for retail investors. He served as Managing Director, Head of Insurance ETFs at BlackRock, overseeing the entry of iShares into the $5 trillion insurance market. At Barclays, Mr. Suri developed a sales channel that became one of the biggest ETF users with over 100 different firms and over $75B in assets.
