Levelset Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

The benefits package itself is substantial

Variable comp is fair and pushes us to exceed goals

Review from Engineering Dept

Our healthcare is a huge plus.

Review from Customer Success Dept

The best part is probably the travel stipend, although I haven't had a chance to use it in the ~2 years since I started working at Levelset (that's my own fault though!).

Review from Marketing Dept

Commission package is pretty good.

Review from Sales Dept

what is a compensation package?

Review from Engineering Dept

Feel I am paid well with the industry, enjoy the relaxed time off structure and oh my gosh do I love readers-curiosity and getting paid to read.

Review from Product Dept

The international travel stipend is very unique. We get a different amount this year but we have to use it to leave the country and take a vacation in which we experience some sort of culture. I do not know of another company that does this! Its awesome!. When COVID ends I cant wait to use it!

Review from Customer Success Dept

I'm paid a little low for market value, but Levelset's generous benefits and great culture make up for the difference. Having flexible time off takes so much stress out of my life and if anything only makes me feel more productive and driven.

Review from Marketing Dept

Generous vacation policy paired with competitive salary and stock options.

Review from Marketing Dept

I think it's average and it is reasonable in comparison to other companies in the same city and I like the benefits in general and the culture it comes with it.

Review from Engineering Dept

Unlimited PTO and constant bonus opportunities.

Review from Sales Dept

The opportunity to get a solid commission from multiple different revenue sources. Monthly commission checks are always something to look forward to!

Review from Sales Dept

I would say the Unlimited Vacation

Review from Customer Support Dept

The best part is the unlimited vacation days. It's comforting to know that those unexpected things that come up won't be counted against you.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The best part of my package is the travel perk. We are given a stipend to see other parts of the world and I love they encourage that.

Review from Finance Dept

There's always room to grow and bonuses are often given out for hard work.

The International Travel Stipend is what made me wanna join this company!

Review from Sales Dept

I like that I have a livable base pay, but am also incentivized through my commission for strong sales performance. I don't have to stress about making rent, and I also feel highly motivated to achieve more so I can earn more.

Review from Customer Support Dept

The best part of the compensation package is the bonus structure and the flexible PTO program

Review from Customer Success Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Unique roles that don't have a benchmark for salary should be looked into further and assessed. Look at who is doing the real heavy lifting, turning the wheels behind the big projects, and really making it happen. Not just the "leaders".

Review from Legal Dept

Tech salaries (admittedly across New Orleans) are definitely lower compared to nearly everywhere outside of the south.

Review from Engineering Dept

I think base salaries across all positions should start at $50k. We are based in cities where our rate of pay does not allow us to keep up with the costs of living and THRIVING. Way too many contests for money we all deserve - just raise our base pay instead.

Review from Customer Success Dept

I wouldn't say I feel undervalued because I do feel valued, I would just say that we should revisit the compensation.

Review from Operations Dept

Comparing with other companies that are even smaller in size than Levelset, a peer of mine could be making 1.5x of what I'm doing and sometimes more, with less experience.

Review from Engineering Dept

Would like to see salaries / salary bands.

Review from Customer Success Dept

Very, very few reps on the sales team make 6 figures. Maybe 5-15% of the team. I would be shocked to learn that anyone who's been with the company for less than 2 years is pacing for over 100k. Atypically low take-home for an ATX-based rep.

Review from Sales Dept

Just understanding what front line employees do on a day to day bases.

Review from Operations Dept

A retirement plan would be a great way to demonstrate that zlien is invested in its employees.

Review from Customer Support Dept

We are lead to believe that we are very much replaceable. They would rather lose us and hire someone new then work on in-house retention. The cost of living in this city has quickly risen, and continues to. Cost of living raises would be a good start for employees

Review from Customer Support Dept

I know that there are other people in the same roles who have earned more without having more applicable experience or taking on extra work. Greater transparency about pay and more equitable pay would help everyone feel more valued.

Review from Customer Support Dept

I feel undervalued because I believe I am not fairly paid. In addition, the idea that my department is a entry level department creates a feeling of being undervalued within the company. Our CEO recently stated in a meeting with our department that "your goal should be to leave the department."

Review from Product Dept

Being better compensated would make me feel better about my compensation. Make complex things simple.

Review from Operations Dept

Inflation adequate raise that matches goods and fuel increase not banking numbers

Review from Engineering Dept

People often take on extra responsibilities without a clear way to request compensation for their extra time and work. Pay raises and bonuses may take months to be fulfilled.

Review from Operations Dept

Compensation package is good. Tough as a sales rep when getting started as you are only making your base and getting very little comp for scheduling demos. Makes the first couple weeks/months tough as the average AE in SAAS base is higher than here

Review from Sales Dept

Seeing our compensation trend more closely to the national averages would be nice.

Review from Sales Dept

Title changes do not come with raises, 401k non existent and no matching will be had when it does exist claimed to be because stock options given yet stock options are not significant either.
