For IT team in specific, leadership needs to know more about the technical side. Leaders for IT teams are non IT people.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel as though i am just a number to them , better compensation would be better benefits
What are some of the best things about your team?
Experienced, dependable, knowledgeable, and hard working. Everyone is a cohesive unit that has worked together for quite awhile.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
We don't work with people within our team much. We work with other teams but IT are usually seem as support so no one value our input.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Coworkers are the most positive aspect at LG&E.
My coworkers keep the environment good at work
Culture is a bit too lax. While business wear is a bit too formal.

Our development team has to take on a lot more responsibilities outside of our scope because other teams are inefficient.
