I'm an asst manager but getting paid the same as a new sales rep

They need to want to be here and want to get paid, not to be here to play on there phones and then go home
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Have managers that know what there doing. Our FM thinks he's trying to be a cool guy that is 35 acting like a 23 year old. Better screening for management.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Ask if they actually know anything about the teams there selling to better help the client. COMMON SENSE, dear god. It's not hard to sell a hat but come on know the team
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
We are a store that gets daily shipments of maybe 4-5 boxes that are packaged by a five year old that is damaged by the way its shipped. There is no security system or cameras. For the store to operate at 100% weekly we need about 150 hours to maintain and keep up with the store but we only get 100
