What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Value their employee. Listen to their employee needs and concerns.
Administration wants a staff full of PRN’s waiting to work on beckon call, but also ready to stay home if Lovelace is not able to hold heir physicians accountable for their surgery block adherence. Subsequently, staff is forced to work overtime

We all get paid fairly and based on our work ethic.

The best part is that I get paid a lot, but not as much as others who work at other hospitals.

Our total compensation package with benefits is a leader in the market. We have excellent benefits and pay.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
After doing a market analysis for a school project, I realized that my position is paid half the state and city average.
Bonuses are a joke compared to what other hospitals offer. You end up losing most of what you made from a bonus in taxes.
What are some of the best things about your team?
the team work and care for the patients
loyalty is the best thing about my team
We share the brunt of the work, we take care of each other when administration begins to pinch pennies.
My team members are all easy to work with and hard working.

I need more work and communication.
I often have to cover shifts for thers, but don't get any kind of extra pay, even if it's houra past my usual check out time.
