Absolutely amazing. I've worked at Lullabot for over 7 years and plan to retire there. It's a workplace utopia - leadership is kind, caring, thoughtful, and encourages you to grow in the directions that you're passionate about.

What skills do you need to be successful in the Engineering department at Lullabot?
Great at working in a team, great communication skills, great client management skills, enough skill to be mostly independent in your role, and knowing when to ask questions (to other devs, the project manager, the client, etc etc)
How are layoffs handled in the Engineering department at Lullabot?
Wouldn't know, haven't happened in my 4 years. I do know we got close once and they were very open about the measures they were taking to avoid it, and ways we might be able to bring in more work.

Because they treat us like adults, we work with awesome people, it's all remote (if you're into that), and we're not overburdened.

Better than I could've ever imagined. It's an amazing experience to be able to have flexibility throughout your day to get a full work day in but also be available for your family and life's many tasks!

Vibe is chilled. Get things done in a relaxed environment. Six hours of client work and one hour of Lullabot related stuff or studying per day.

Amazing. I honestly believe that Lullabot has the best leadership team in the tech community. Our creative director is the most thoughtful, experienced, and talented mentor I've ever had the pleasure to work alongside.
