What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Being leaders instead of manipulators. Actually caring about their employees instead of worrying whether they are in compliance with the law or not. As long as they treat their employees like other top financial institutions is all they care about. Those institutions are also criminal.

top performer is not appriciated accordigly
Promoting the employees who have been there longer before promoting new employees
Yes, I feel undervalued. I would like fair compensation for my contribution. Even if I just made the same as my colleagues in the same role I would be happy.
New hires will get paid the same or more than longer tenured employees
For the area I live in, the cost of living is significantly higher than the pay I make. Also, there is only one option for health insurance and it has a high deductible. I wish I had the option for a plan with just a co-pay.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people are nice and aome of them are great to chat with. We all try to cover for eachother and make sure the work gets done.

We are all on the same page as to the systems need upgrading to better perform duties in branches. Tellers and platform, operations.

Company and departmental meetings are group think and not focused on executing business

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The lower level management and employees are invilved in the resource groups and actually believe in the mission.
Culturally rich and connected between branches

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
It's not all negative... but being acquired and still wishing we had our old sytems back to perform our duties. Things are not moving fast enough.

Too slow to innovate. Dont cater to evolving customer desires, needs.
Too focused on how wonderful they are rather than performance

M&T is struggling to understand what it will take to meet industry standard in a lot of ways. Some of the existing structure is preventing us from getting there. We're in our own way.
