  • What did you like most about the interview process?
Majority of the people tried to focus on the interview and behaved nicely.
  • What makes you most happy at work?
Solving tough problems has helped me be happy. There is a hindrance to support problem solving and the culture has changed to follow the top management. They waste a lot of time in meetings trying to understand things that they can't and waste engineering time. This is increasingly making me unhappy

Constructive Feedback From Magic Leap Employees

  • What needs to change to make the company culture better?
culture hasn't been bad. There is just favoritism going on with undue and undeserved importance given to new hires from FANG even before they show output. New hires from others places don't get the same treatment.
  • Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Increased compensation, recognition, more RSU and RSU refreshers and secondary market to liquidate RSU until a proper liquidation event.
  • Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Better merit increases Fully paid bonuses Stock option refreshers and opportunities to liquidate soon and often
