What benefits does MakeMusic provide?
Peaksware (parent company) offers good health insurance benefits, 401k matching, company-paid consultation with a financial advisor, quarterly fitness reimbursement (in lieu of health club membership benefit), and drinks/snacks onsite including a kegerator.
What's the pay like for employees at MakeMusic?
Can't speak for others, but my salary is below market by 15-20%.
How does MakeMusic handle HR issues?
MakeMusic/Peaksware HR is structured entirely around providing defense for management. No employee advocate exists. It is usually fruitless to raise any issue to HR unless it is of a nature that they are legally required to respond to and deal with. The CHRO is, far and away, the worst at her job of anyone on the executive level.
